Thinner Cables
The mechanical properties and density of Hytrel® enable the thinner design and manufacture of wires and cables compared to traditional materials such as PVC. This enables a cost saving - both on material and processing time - as well as an opportunity to become more sustainable - due to lower material and processing requirements. For 1000m of cable, Hytrel® solutions are around 30% lighter.
Thinner cables are often required for applications where wires and cables need to be routed through tight spaces. Hytrel® is the perfect flexible polymer choice.
