CELANEX® PBT

Celanex® PBT is a semi-crystalline engineering plastic based on polybutylene terephthalate that provides high strength, rigidity, toughness and low creep even at high temperatures. It is also resistant to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases.

Celanex® PBT features excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and powerful insulation resistance. It is also available for conventional and halogen-free flame-retardant products.

Celanex® PBT ECO-B

Many Celanex® PBT grades are available with an ECO-B option. By using the mass balance process, the benefits of using renewable raw materials can be allocated to specific products to help customers meet their sustainability objectives. ECO-B options can offer up to 40% renewable content and up to 50% CO2 footprint reduction using waste-based feedstocks.

Celanex® PBT/PET ECO-R

PBT/PET blends offer advantages in visual applications with demanding requirements in surface appearance. Some PBT/PET blends are available as ECO-R grades containing minimum 25% post-consumer recycled PET.
