Our priority continues to be the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers. Shutdowns, restrictions, and quarantines may give us some operational challenges, but our teams are working hard to minimize any disruption while also ensuring they all remain as safe as possible.
On a global level, Univar Solutions are diligently monitoring and evaluating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it progresses. We are engaging with customers to continue satisfying their needs and are actively working with suppliers as they assess their impact. The situation is continually evolving on a global basis and changes from day to day.
The outbreak of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus threatens to have even greater global implications after the number of reported international cases quickly escalate worldwide. The recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Europe has triggered government mandated lockdowns and transport restrictions for affected regions.
We continue to monitor the situation closely with our suppliers, and should any additional information regarding disruption in our supply chain occur, we will promptly inform affected customers to work out a continuity plan as the situation allows. We will also notify you as soon as possible about any unforeseen consequences of the situation or those, which may be impossible to overcome.
