Daniel Wendels

Technical Development Engineer

Daniel Wendels is Technical Development Engineer for Distrupol in the Nordics, Germany and France. Daniel joined the Distrupol team in 2024.

Daniel holds a M(Sc) Degree in Chemical Engineering (materials science, polymers) from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and has spent the last 20+ years developing his career in the plastics industry.

Having worked for the likes of Plasman, Volvo and Nexeo Plastics, in positions such as Materials Specialist, Materials Manager, and Application Development Manager, Daniel has a wealth of experience and expertise that equips him to expertly support customers across his regions with their polymer material and processing requirements. Daniel’s specific areas of interest and skill include polymer properties, material selection, product development, characterisation, injection moulding, sustainability and automotive applications.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys road cycling and mountain biking, alpine skiing, travelling and exploring cuisines.
