Relocation and investment for expansion in the Benelux

Distrupol BV, a Univar Inc. subsidiary and European leader in the application and development of thermoplastic polymers and elastomers, is relocating to larger offices at the Univar facility in Rotterdam.

This move is to support the development, investment and expansion of the business’ sales force to meet the demands and needs of both customers and suppliers as a fundamental part of its 2018 growth strategy.

To support growth, AnneMarie Struik has been promoted to Key Account Manager. AnneMarie brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the sales team having worked for over 15 years in the polymer industry in customer service, sales and marketing roles. AnneMarie joins the existing sales team of Key Account Managers, Tom Waag and Edona Hartman, and will assume the role of market developer targeting specific customers and product groups.

“This investment reflects the increased demand we are seeing across the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg regions, and we hope to be able to offer an even better service to our customers and suppliers alike. We are also very pleased to be working extensively and exclusively with a number of new and existing suppliers strengthening our portfolio in both engineering and commodity polymers,” commented James Stanton, Sales Manager for the Benelux region.

Distrupol BV now offers a full range of polymer solutions including high performance Polyamide and medically approved Polyethylene to high-heat TPV and food approved ABS and Polypropylene grades.
