A family of mineral and mineral/glass-reinforced nylon resins with a unique balance of properties which maintain the optimum balance of strength and rigidity, while minimising the effects of warpage together with easy flow, fast cycle times and high impact strength. For under-hood applications such as engine styling covers, where a combination of low warpage and excellent surface finish is required, a range of mineral or mineral/glass-reinforced resins, have been developed.

Even for the most demanding under-hood applications, Minlon^® grades featuring a specially developed glass and mineral combination and a nylon 66 matrix provide the ultimate combination of strength, stiffness and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Resistance to hot oil and hot air ageing, combined with precision moulding and low warpage are additional benefits provided by Minlon^®.
