Elvaloy® Ethylene Copolymers

Used alone or compounded with other resins, DuPont™ Elvaloy® copolymers add performance in areas such as flexibility, toughness, weatherability and “soft touch.” Compounding Elvaloy® resins into other plastics such as PVC, ABS and PET helps impart long-lasting flexibility and toughness, helping prevent embrittlement.

 

Elvaloy® AC acrylate copolymers Elvaloy® AC acrylate copolymers include butyl-, ethyl-, and methyl-acrylate (EBA, EEA and EMA) resins for molding, extrusion and extrusion coating. Elvaloy® polymer modifiers Elvaloy® and Elvaloy® HP copolymers are used most often for modifying (typically flexibilising) other polymers including PVC, ABS, and PET.

 

Also useful as masterbatch base resins, Elvaloy® AC polymer modifiers offer: Broader compatibility with polar and non-polar resins relative to polyethylene carriers or conventional acrylate copolymer resins. Superior thermal stability relative to EVA resins. Better filler dispersion in substrates. Better colour uniformity. Increased impact performance versus PE-based masterbatches.
