DELRIN POM

Delrin® acetal (Polyoxymethylene POM) bridges the gap between metals and plastics with a unique combination of properties.

These include low wear/low friction, strength and stiffness, hardness, dimensional stability, toughness, fatigue resistance, solvent and fuel resistance.

Delrin® acetal homopolymer offers a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 120°C), and when compared to acetal copolymer, offers higher tensile strength, stiffness, creep resistance and significantly higher impact resistance, allowing for thinner and lighter part design and shorter moulding cycles.

Delrin® is widely used in many applications, including automotive, industrial, electronic, consumer goods and medical.
